Decoding Bias

This is a reflective, discussion opportunity that is a precursor to a day of learning. (1 hr) Participants will gain understanding where they lie on the spectrum of understanding their own bias, and will help to usher them into an objective learning experience.

Public Policy and the Racial Wealth Gap

This innovative simulation will help participants understand the connections among racial inequity, hunger, poverty & wealth by examining how federal policies created structural inequalities. (2 hrs) Demontrates the need of racial equity work on a systemic and structural level.

Half Day and Full day Retreats

Curriculum can be built to meet the an organization's learning goals utilizing: Interactive Discussion and Activites, Movies, and Documentaries.  We also focus on regeneration and celebration of self.

The Cost of Poverty Experience

An interactive, immersive experience that offers a glimpse into the lives of individuals and families living with low incomes in our community. (2 hrs) COPE offers a snapshot of the obstacles that are faced, the decisions that are made, and the consequences that impact families every day.
